The french author and director leads for last time, the first in Spanish, his most performed work. It’s the chronicle of a rupture interpreted by a couple in their best professional moment.
The public of Aviñon Festival stayed breathless when, in 2011, assisted to the premier of the then new show of author and scene director Pascal Rambert. The text signed and directed by himself, subjected a couple to a sentimental rupture, a really tough conversation with the protagonists exchanging monologues to express the violence of a love in death process. Fear and liberation are mixed in the heartbreaking talk of the couple, a devastating combat with no mercy between a man and a woman that keeps up in intensity up to the last sentences. Rambert has directed performances of the show in different countries. This time with Bárbara Lennie and Israel Elejalde, two interpreters of the Kamikaze family.

“From La clausura del amor one leaves shocked and happily exhausted…Reserve now, and be ready because the collision of two rocks in fire is something that you don’t see everynight”
Marcos Ordóñez EL PAÍS 10 september 2015
“Their merit is to provide physical intensity to the dramatic literature and a honest feeling to an explicit text in the form: a construction game. He raises a wall of words and she demolishes it.”
Juan Carlos Olivares Padilla EL PAÍS 30 july 2015
“If Israel proposes a verbal construction installed in his dissatisfaction, she takes her turn to talk with her feet on the ground, from the guts, a pure life bubbling”
Juan Ignacio García Garzón ABC 15 november 2015 (Madrid)
“This spectacle is a marvel…because a savage text…because the colossal job of Israel Elejalde and Bárbara Lennie…Without any possible doubt, two of the best and bravest interpreters of this country.”

“Thanks to the team of “Clôuture de l’amour” for the risk, the magnificent work and their poetical highness. Thanks to Israel Elejalde and Bárbara Lennie by the superb effort, by their continuous restlessness and their approach to the abyss.”

“…the risky work of two kamikazes who gifts us with sincere emotion, the joy of spontaneity given with justice to those who work so hard”
Domingo Herráiz Amores De mis pasos en la tierra 14 november 2015 (Madrid)
“…results deeply interesting not only by the fact that the protagonists are able to reach those interpretative levels (enough reason itself), but also because is a literature-valuable text, complex and that ennobles on the stage with this dialogic structure…All is more impressionist than abstract, but even though, they move with a language in which one must get in as in the ungraspable mass of poetry.”
Ángel Esteban Monje KRITILO 14 noviembre 2015 (Madrid)
“…the word is the big protagonist. And without doubt, they also are. Bárbara Lennie and Israel Elejalde are sublime…With no doubt, a must see, because my words are not enough in this case. You have to feel the text in first person. You can not miss it.”
Montse Carrasco at STAGE DOOR 26 julio 2015 (Barcelona)
“…the public is immersed in this whirl of feelings and lives the show imprinted by the mixture of pain and rage that they transmit each other.”
David Elfo Novoa TEATRE BARCELONA 26 julio 2015 (Barcelona)
“The nude scenography chaired by the whiteness of the ring and the lighting of 24 perfectly aligned fluorescents, highlights the emptiness and the coldness of the situation, adding value the greatness of the text -specially brilliant in the second part- and the interpretation of the characters. Without doubt, a wise choice of the production.”
Núria Cañamares recomana 26 julio 2015 (Barcelona)
“…an interpretative marathon only at the reach of a few. It is a work hard to play, with an actoral exhaustion as few. Given this, my most sincere written applause to Israel Elejalde y Bárbara Lennie…Brilliant interpretative combat interpretativo where the public is the one who wins.”
Elisa Díez BUTAQUES I SOMNIS julio 2015 (Barcelona)
“the performance by Bárbara Lennie and Israel Elejalde -also a couple in real life , that nothing happens to them- were both very, very good; they gave their best…The Lliure at Gràcia was full and the applauses were long and loud”
